Review on 💖 Amour Crochet Hook Set by Clover - 10 Sizes by Nicole Mcleod

I was very concerned about buying these hooks because I've always had a very strange grip - I hold the needle like a pencil but always keep my index finger up, so I mostly knit with thumb and index finger. I've never managed to hold the hook down with my index finger - maybe my fingers are too short or too fat, but I just can't hold the small hook properly. My grip makes it very difficult for me to straighten the stitches, but I've used this grip ever since I first learned to crochet when I was 12 (I'm 61 now) - almost 50 years old! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use this grip with these crochet hooks, but the reviews were so great that I decided to give it a try - so I started crocheting and suddenly realized that it was the first time in my life that I was using the hook with the right pencil grip held! It was completely natural and I did it without even realizing I was doing it. Needless to say I am very surprised and absolutely thrilled! My stitches come out smoother than ever and as many other reviewers have pointed out, the hook goes through yarn like a hot knife through butter! I can't believe I waited this long to buy them - it seemed like a lot of money just to pay for crochet hooks - but they are absolutely worth their price, which is actually very, very reasonable here at Revain. Even if you are new to crocheting I would recommend spending a little more money on these needles. they are worth the investment. I wish I had had them 50 years ago when I started. I cannot recommend these hooks enough!
