The lining is looser than shorts.
Lining too loose for shorts, shorts fit US 34/L but lining was comparable to XXL underwear maybe size 38 which doesn't make sense for that. I read the reviews carefully to find the right size and it's not about the fit, it's just that the liner needs to be a lot smaller compared to the shorts themselves.
