Nice simple handle but the mounting screws require some work

This handle mounts on an interior barn door. It was solid, with a good finish, and the flanges lay flat on the door. The screw holes were countersunk with a chamfer, but the screws provided were truss head with no taper. I contacted the seller to request pan or pan head screws. None of them were available so they suggested I request a refund and later issued a refund in response to my seller feedback. I buy screws that I think are suitable. Most buyers will not notice the discrepancy between the hole and the screws until the handle begins to loosen.
