Installed this on my Jeep 5.7 a few weeks ago. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm not an idiot either. I needed the whole weekend. It was probably around 7 or 8 hours of real work. Make sure you have a spring compressor and some deep wells. The instructions were a little confusing, mostly because I'm not familiar with the terminology. I asked my mechanic to check my shocks before replacing the lifter and he said they were fine. I pulled out the A-pillar and it was completely dead. Now I'm going to disassemble everything again, change the frame. I also replaced the rear shocks with load adjustable ones. They were a nice upgrade especially when I was throwing up in a trailer or boat. I went with 265/70/17 and still had to shorten the arm bolt. I recommend spacers. Changing frames sucks, but oh well. I'll add photos later.
