Instead of a spiral spacer lift like Rocky Road and others

The reason I chose this lift was because unlike many other options it is a pre-loaded front lift, not a spiral lift above the shock absorber, etc. This does not change the full suspension travel of the standard suspension geometry. This means that with the front wheel off the ground there is no additional downward movement which (on other lifters) would place the axles and suspension in a position they were not designed for and increase wear beyond factory specifications. Basically, the length…

Nice cheap fairly easy

Installed this on my Jeep 5.7 a few weeks ago. I'm not a mechanic, but I'm not an idiot either. I needed the whole weekend. It was probably around 7 or 8 hours of real work. Make sure you have a spring compressor and some deep wells. The instructions were a little confusing, mostly because I'm not familiar with the terminology. I asked my mechanic to check my shocks before replacing the lifter and he said they were fine. I pulled out the A-pillar and it was completely dead. Now I'm going to…

GREAT SET! We recommend!

AMAZING! I wish I had done the remodel a few years ago. A very well thought out kit. You have to cut off some rusty bolts because they won't move. This is normal as the rubber bushings on the front swingarms were worn and ran like new after the $14 bushing was cut and pressed in. Reuse old Jeep springs. I bought full racks, thought it would be easier. hated her. Went back and bought a Monroe Matic for $22 in the rear and new gas struts in the front with stock Jeep springs. I increased the tires

PERFECT for making room for a Rubicon

Very surprised by this kit. I've installed/operated lifts on my jeeps for years and have always gone the long way, but this is for my 16 year old stepson WK 2005 so we decided on a more economical method to make room for a set of wheels and Rubicon tires to create (255 /70/17 mud terrain kilometers). Not only did this flatten the Grand the way I wanted it, but I actually got a little more lift than I expected (2.75 inches in the front and about 2 inches in the rear), and since the springs…

Pros
  • Makes installation easier
Cons
  • Good but not great
