Contrary to many reviews, this one was written 5 years after purchase. I just threw it away as it decomposed and found tons of rubber dust and lumps of rubber rubbed into the wooden floor under the carpet. When it starts to go bad there will be a huge mess and it probably won't be too obvious unless you pick up the rug. As for its anti-slip abilities - well. I've often noticed that the carpet slips when you walk over it quickly. Haven't really found an anti slip pad that doesn't slip and this was the third one I've tried, all different brands, from Revain bringing the rest back. I would give this one back as no better than the others, but really didn't see the point in investing more in it. The underside of the carpet was covered with a lining.
