Compact GPS mouse based on SiRF Star III. Works with SiRFDemo PC software as well as other host GPS packages. This is flashable firmware. Serial and USB versions work equally well. The serial version has a serial cable, but still requires some kind of power connected to that serial cable. You can modify the cable and connector or purchase an adapter key that will provide DB-9 function and power. The USB version requires no additional cables or connectors - just plug it into a USB port. Updated 10 years later! I constantly use a device that I reviewed here 10 years ago. It stays in my car and continues to work perfectly. I also have a USB only model BU-353 that I carry in an emergency bag that plugs into a laptop. Great devices.
