Update May 16, 2020 I was looking through the reviews and saw this. That was a few months ago and the thing is still fully functional in terms of elasticity. Its primary purpose is still sun protection, but I've beaten it at crawling in attics, working in the garden, etc. And it's holding up great! I was originally going to buy a second one but shipping took too long at the time so I waited. It turned out that one was enough. Anytime I get it dirty I just give it a quick hand wash (no special soap or anything, just what I have on hand) and let it dry the next day. Still worth $$$! First Review: When I was about to buy this, I remember someone checking it out and being unhappy because the edges seemed to be falling apart. While it's true, it's just a piece of gray rubber strap that sticks out a little here and there. I've been using it daily (and hand washing) for about three months now and it's working just as well as the day I got it. Yes, some of the gray streak has come out, but it's not unsightly when it happens and it doesn't affect its ability to stay in place and get the job done. It should be noted that this is not a high compression rate like some other products. Very different than part of a tight sock. I only use it to cover up sun damage.
