Hard to pin down. it's kind of a hybrid of fabric, rubber and spandex. I like this product more than neoprene foam like McDavid products. It's much more breathable. Good for applying light pressure to help with nerve damage after multiple knee surgeries. The not extreme tightness allows me to wear it all day.

I love everything about this calf brace. I especially like the length as I'm shorter and the other sleeves are too long. My height is 5 feet 2 inches. I had surgery on my leg and my orthopedist recommended that I wear a calf brace to keep my leg stable. I've worn it many times, so I resize, I don't leave home without it!

I've tried other calf supports before but they weren't small enough for me. The fit was excellent.
