I used to have 3 of these stands and they all cost almost the same as they did 15 years ago. 2 were skate only racks that I still have. I've only had one coaster where the rollers were all rusted and frozen, so unusable. The ONLY thing that was better about these racks was that they had greaves welded on. At the ends of the crossbars there were rubber caps for the tips of the stick, which moved away fairly quickly. The "legs" on this stand are much better. Other stands opened fully vertically, which meant that almost every time material got near the roller, the stand rose and eventually fell down. I love that the scrollbar is tilted towards the work ahead to counteract this. The fact that this is a roller coaster was the main reason I bought it. The fixed head and reel shaft were pass-through for me. You can get used to it. You can not. Bar rollers are very useful to help woodworking for anything involving a fence. They have to be absolutely perfectly aligned or they'll tear the board off the fence or get stuck in the fence. They are likely to be useful for use with a planer for long, heavy boards or lumber. Rollerballs are what you need to use with a fence. If you are working with long boards or sheet material you will need 2 of them. With sheet material it is necessary to support both sides of the initial cut. With narrower sheet material or panels you can use one for the infeed and one for the outfeed. If there are any problems using it, I will let you know.
