Review on N2QAYB000570 Replacement Panasonic TC 32LX44S TC 60PS34UA by Anna Green

My parents' Panasonic TV had problems with the remote control from day one. We've always attributed it to angle issues from not pressing the buttons hard enough - mostly to justify it when apparently it shouldn't have been. The original has finally become so unstable that it's time to move away from it. I was originally thinking of replacing it with a Panasonic original, but the positive reviews for this replacement caught my attention and I figured there wouldn't hurt to try it. Wow, it works better than the original! No programming required - just plug in the batteries and go. The only real difference from the original in our case was access to the TV's control/setup menu. Reprogramming was a bit more difficult, but it's nothing that a little patience can't figure out. Would recommend this remote instead of the original remote that came with the TV even with the more difficult access to the setup menu. UPDATE 1/1/21. Well, the remote lasted two years. It's not exactly dead, but unbearably unreliable responsiveness. Even though it's been a little over 2 years, I'm still ordering the same one. Wanted to update my review---one star deducted for only 2 years of service, but I'm not too upset since it's less than $7 ;)
