I love this starter. I always had to wait for the 'Wait to start engine' light to go off before I could start the engine. And even then, it almost always took two to four cranks to get it going. Now with this starter, I just put the key in the ignition and fire it up like a carburetor. It ignites within two seconds. I don't know how long this starter will last me, but so far I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Update: It's been almost four months since I installed this starter motor on my 7.3 diesel truck. In the morning the temperature was 38 degrees. It took three revolutions before the engine started. I didn't have to plug the engine heater into an outlet like I did before installing this starter at home. That's great. Update September 30, 2016: It's been a year since I installed the launcher. It still works great.
