Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy A50 Verizon Smartphone in Black with 64GB Storage by Bogdan Mironow ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

One, I've used phones with 4000 mAh batteries before and they were far more reliable (especially when charged overnight as opposed to the A50, which can be charged at any time of day). Second, the claims that the amoled screen is more efficient and consumes less power than the IPS screen on this phone are false. Thirdly, efficiency. My Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro played games much better. A50 (far less overheating, no throttling, and battery life comparable to mine). There are better camera phones available for less than twenty thousand dollars. Since I already liked Huawei and Honor, I won't change my mind about it (not that I try to force my opinion on anyone). I gave Samsung a shot because I wanted to, but I won't make that mistake again. Samsung's attempts in the middle market largely failed. They have not yet figured out how to create an affordable middle ground. The A50 did not meet my expectations, but my friend S10+ thinks it's really cool. I can think of better ways to invest twenty thousand dollars. Anyhow, the ball is in your court; it's your responsibility to perform the heavy mental lifting and come to a conclusion.

Pros
  • Huge kudos. Indeed, it was one of the year's best-selling mobile devices. However, benefits elsewhere are drawbacks here.
Cons
  • 1. an Amoled display. Theoretically, a cooler screen should use less battery than IPS, but in practice, I've found the opposite to be true. Also, cameras. Xiaomi phones have superior cameras for the same price (20,000). Third, execution. Not quite good enough. There are two kinds of delays: hangs and lags. When playing games, it overheats like a Mediatek device. 4 The Always display feature, which the manufacturer and Samsung supporters claim does not significantly drain the battery, does so with this device. Fifth, the battery life does not match the advertised 4000 mAh capacity.
