$1000 for 8bit + FRC?

Cons: The title states the main cons. In addition, the color gamut is not exactly professional and only promises 98% DCI-P3. A professional monitor typically delivers 99%-100% aRGB + >95% DCI-P3. A minor annoying point: its indicator keeps breathing after the signal source is turned off. I use it in my bedroom and it will be annoying when I can hardly sleep. To get rid of the breathing light, I have to turn it off. However, it will take 5 to 10 seconds to turn off and on next time. Weary. Later I just unplugged/plugged in the power cord when I finished/started using it. Not neat. Pros: Despite the breath gauge, the industrial design is pretty good. Much lighter and thinner than Asus HDR monitors. And I love that it only uses one joystick to control the OSD, which you use to move up/down/left/right + Enter. Intuitive and sexy. The OSD interface is well designed. In comparison, Asus will use the same joystick BUT with 4 extra buttons, a pretty unintuitive way of using it, plus an ugly OSD user interface. The color matches the Apple Macbook Pro almost perfectly. Not exactly the same, but it's the closest I've seen. I'm happy with the white plastic backplate, which many find cheap. It's matte, not glossy. Verdict: For a similar price, Asus delivers the strongest HDR experience. Opt for the Asus PA329C over this monitor for jobs that are more color critical. your mbp/iMac. Plus a similar level of sexiness in terms of product design. I could give this LG 5 stars if they sell it for $500. I returned it as I am using Win10 for CG. It outshines my PA32UC (a used one I bought for $850).
