Review on Manfrotto Grip Action Ball Head: Lightweight Magnesium Fluid Tripod Ball Head for Content Creation, Vlogging, and Photography by Mike Mitchell

I'm a hobbyist so take it for what it is. I bought this with 055XPROB. Please note that you will need a 90cm bag for this combination. The possibilities here are endless. With this combination of head and legs, I can position the camera in almost any position imaginable. I will say the QR is secure but also a little annoying when removed. The adjustable grip tension is perfect for balancing the lens/camera combo, but it's not easy to switch quickly when you have multiple cameras/lenses. There's nothing wrong with sticking with a stiffer setup other than grip training and maybe carrying a spring. Speaking of the quill, you'll need to keep a ribbon (not pictured) around the handle when not in use. This is also annoying, but understandable from the design point of view. Note that your camera will be off center with this head. This is not suitable for taking panoramas. I would buy it again knowing what I'm doing now and will buy another pan/landscape head in the future.
