I bought this item about three or four months ago. Worked great on my two civilians, one with an aftermarket main unit and one with stock. The aftermarket head unit only required a USB part and it worked great. The stock Civic also requires an AUX cable. More recently I bought another one because I didn't want to swap the original between cars anymore. Well, the new one looks the same but doesn't work at all. I compared it to the old one, a good one has the LED flashing red and blue when pairing, but not the new one, it's just solid blue. But there is no connection to my cell phone. I tested the old one, just plug and play it works perfectly, it recognizes my phone. New, plugged in, no, just solid blue, not connected to my phone, not connected to anything. Doesn't even show up in my BT connections. I deleted the previous connection with the one I had, still not working with the new one. They sent me a replacement. Same problem. Looks like the "updated version" is not good.
