Review on Standard Motor Products RU 398 Resistor by Noel Pilla

One day we went to the cinema in my 2004 Honda Accord, it was hot outside but who cares, it was nice and cool in the air conditioned cabin of my car . After the movie we went outside, started the car and there was no air conditioning, the fan stopped blowing. Over the next few days I searched the internet for common problems with a 2004 Honda Accord and found out, among other things, that the RU-398 blower motor resistor tends to burn out, especially if the cabin filter has not been replaced. Apparently, the cabin filter helps cool the electric fan resistor RU-398. Who knew so I took a chance and ordered a RU-398 fan motor resistor which fixed my air conditioner. It is not known how much the shop would charge me to have the air conditioner repaired. Great part, it worked and fixed my air conditioner.
