Works like a charm Good fit for fan motor

I bought this to replace a broken one on my 2003 Honda Accord Ex. I had no stove, no AC, but after replacing this little thing, my accord blows with high winds. Love it!

  • Very good price
Cons

Part arrived badly. I did not try to contact the seller

The item was of poor quality. I have not tried to contact the seller. Measured as removed from the car. Troubleshooting took me a few days. I went to the auto zone and measured before buying. Well tested, I installed the one from the car zone and let the air out of the vents again.

Perfect fit for my Acura 2004 TSX

Cheap, about half the price of a dealer part but works perfectly. During lunch the air was normal, but after a couple of hours the fan wouldn't turn on. All controls worked, the compressor came on, but there was no air. After some research I took the risk of replacing this part myself as it only took two bolts of work and 10 minutes of my time. Now the air conditioning on my 2004 Acura TSX is working again.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Doubtful

Worked perfectly for me

One day we went to the cinema in my 2004 Honda Accord, it was hot outside but who cares, it was nice and cool in the air conditioned cabin of my car . After the movie we went outside, started the car and there was no air conditioning, the fan stopped blowing. Over the next few days I searched the internet for common problems with a 2004 Honda Accord and found out, among other things, that the RU-398 blower motor resistor tends to burn out, especially if the cabin filter has not been replaced…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Can't remember

Wife started her Honda Accord and turned on the air conditioner. When she turned the fan down to a lower speed, the air conditioning stopped working and the fan wouldn't turn on. A quick youtube check showed that if the fan motor resistor fails, the air conditioner will not cool and the fan controller will not work. Check out how to replace the resistor on youtube. Pretty easy, but you'll need a long 6-8 inch Phillips screwdriver to bypass the plastic tab on the vent. Do not attempt to unplug…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • poorly thought out
