This review is about original quality as I have less than a day of EVSE. Firstly, considering the price, this EVSE can't be that good! The device has a sunlight-readable display that shows instantaneous amps, total kWh supplied, total charge time, and temperature (the manual doesn't say if this is the plug or box temp, but I'm guessing the latter). It toggles between readings, or you can press a button to toggle them manually. There's also a large strip of colored LEDs that let you see the charging status from anywhere in the room. The cable feels like high quality silicone rubber with good strain relief on both ends. I haven't measured the length, but the manual says 24 feet, which seems correct. The fit and finish of the J-handle (the end that fits your car) looks good and is solid. I haven't tested the GFCI or over-current protection, but pressing the switch on the handle J stops charging immediately. Stage 2: The unit I purchased was only advertised as Stage 1 and came with a NEMA 5-15 plug on the input end. However, the manual in the box states that it can accept 240V input. I can check later. The only thing (possibly) lacking is durability. I will update my rating if my device breaks.
