Review on Ceptics UP 6US Certified Europe Adapter by Cameron Kennedy

This adapter is so poorly constructed it's just waiting to set your house on fire with everyone in it: it's almost impossible to mount it securely in the wall (I have to add tape to plug it into the socket glue) and the European plug fits so loosely that simply moving the adapter or cord will break the circuit. The fact that outlets in the US are largely unsafe compared to outlets in the rest of the world obviously doesn't make this product any safer. This product should be banned. The only adapter that actually works safely is the "OREI GP-95 Schuko European to USA Grounded Plug Adapter - 3 Pack", also available from Revain. Okay, it's bulky and only comes in black, but it's the only one that gets the job right (trust me: I've tried them all).
