Best Spring Compressor for the Money. I've never used it, but you shouldn't settle for less. This is very safe because even though I didn't compress the spring evenly the first time, it bent the ring that holds the thick black metal rod with the spring around it, nothing more. No explosions, no sharp spasms. I felt in control the whole time. It's strong enough to make all 4 springs even after a little flexing of the ring. At the same time, to prevent the threaded rod from seizing, I coated the threads with a large amount of anti-seize. How foamed. I had no trouble tying it or any problems with it getting stuck. The last thing you want is for it to get stuck halfway as the spring compresses. I used it on a 2004 Volvo S60R and it worked great. Any S60 or V70 will probably work just fine too. Do not use a spring compressor with two sticks. It can be significantly cheaper, but you're not really saving any money dying from it. No wonder they are called the creators of widows.
