I have revision D1 of this flash drive, it's not very useful for Linux :-(

Based on other reviews of this product I was hoping to get revision C1 which has more mature Linux drivers ( rtl8812au) as the D1 that was sent to me. The D1 version requires rtl8822-bu drivers which have much less support and will not work with the openwrt distribution I had in mind. If you expect the D1 you will need to download and Compile your Linux drivers from source Hopefully this information is useful to someone.
