Review on Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED: Wide Angle Lens for Stunning Photography by Adam Czajkowski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, I will order more.

I shoot country and city landscapes, installed on Nikon D600 the main disadvantage is the lack of installation of filters, this bulb catches all the glare and overexposure, : in terms of coverage at the highest sharpness, this is a winner landscape painter, and weight, the perfect shot is obtained only with a strictly horizontal (or vertical, whatever) aiming, any deviations - and you will correct a variety of distortions up to a sweat A couple of examples here: The differences in sharpness and focus are especially noticeable after switching to this glass from Nikon 16-35: more light, feel the lack of a stabilizer on such a short-focus lens: I shoot with it mostly a landscape that is not in a hurry, I use a mono- or tripod, I am very satisfied, I finally found what I wanted for my genre

Pros
  • High sharpness, fast focus
Cons
  • The inability to set filters, when shooting with distortions, geometric distortions go off scale so that no software can correct the picture
