Review on 🚗 Toyota (77310-48020) Fuel Tank Cap Assembly - Authentic by Michael Wiley

I've been trying to fix the fault codes mentioned in the title for a while (Toyota Avalon 2001), new canister, new VSV purge valve, new vent valve (closed VSV canister), new hoses, smoke test passed etc. The VSV canister and vent tested poorly, but the codes kept coming back even after replacing those parts. It turned out that while these components contributed to system malfunctions, the aftermarket gas cap prevented the system from working properly. Problem solved with this new header. OBTW, if you're having these errors and the tech tells you to replace the canister, avoid the Dorman brand; I've gone through two of these in 2 years; Get this part from Toyota; it will save you a lot of headache.
