Review on 63124 Eclipse Black 2 Inch Carrier by Jamal Gerrero

This shelf came really quickly from Revain (not bad for the free shipping!) and it's a heavy piece of metal! It is very durable, assembled in 15 minutes and looks beautiful. As someone else mentioned the instructions are wrong, you need to insert the grub screw from the driver's side, not the passenger's side, as the threads are on the left side of the hitch. I even called the company that makes this rack and they said the instructions were wrong. I don't know why people complain about issues. What about the extra 5 seconds with a ratchet for some security? My only complaint, and it's not this rack's fault, is that I can't mount my friend's son's Light McQueen bike on it because the frame is so close together and the tube is thick. I bought an all sport pull bar at Walmart and even THIS is too wide so I have to make my own top bar from a DIY site I found. I was able to mount my friend's bike on it with no top bars, so that's a plus. Edit: Following some instructions on the internet I came up with this Lightning McQueen bike handlebar and it works like a charm. I found an aluminum rod in the trash at my work and cut and drilled it as needed. Got 2 fence post brackets and 2 locking pins from home storage. Anyone looking for a bicycle top tube adapter (command point com) will find it.
