Check Engine Light On 2000 Mercedes SLK 230
It looks like a good, almost identical, heavy duty replacement cap for a Mercedes SLK 230, but the soft seal is only about 1/4 inch wide where the harder seal of the OEMs is is about 5/8 inch. After about 5 km of driving, the fuel cap warning light and the engine warning light will come on. It reliably fails after resets. So it will NOT fit the 2000 slk 230 as advertised.
