Good reliable HDMI-DVI-D adapters; not the best choice for a Raspberry Pi, although the

I had some DVI monitors I wanted to use with Raspberry Pi 2+3 boards for student education and decided to get some cheap HDMI to DVI adapters to buy. Yes it works, but the adapters are wide enough to block 1/8" audio outputs from Raspberry Pi boards. The solution for me was to buy a pair of 6 foot adapter cables with an HDMI connector on one end and DVI-D on the other. I still give this product 5 stars because it is a well-made video connectors. But Raspberry Pi 2/3 users beware: you tend to lose the audio connection, even with the 1/8" 90° audio jack I use. That one caveat aside, great product!

Pros

Bidirectional HDMI to DVI Adapter is a great solution for connecting from a computer with a DVI port to a monitor, HDTV or projector with an HDMI port, or from a computer to Blu -ray is a player, TV box or game console with an HDMI connection to a monitor with a DVI connection. Requires DVI cable (sold separately)
