Review on Gotham Steel Hammered Copper Collection – Mini 5.5” Egg Pan, Premium Nonstick Aluminum Cookware with Rubber Grip Handle, Dishwasher & Oven Safe up to 500° F by Louis Abrams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overview 5.5 " and 10 "! Works as intended, effectively and does not stick.

Revain does not allow separate ratings for multiple sizes, so both the 5.5" Egg Pan and the 10" Covered Pan are considered here. - The 5.5 inch egg pan is large enough to cook two eggs, a large patty, or three links. Thermal Performance: The pan heats up quickly to full cooking temperature and maintains it well at medium heat. A: I always add a little butter/butter to start cooking, but the non-stick coating and sensible turning times prevent food from sticking. Stay clean and preserve pan quality without causing abrasion during cleaning. Low sides make it easy to pour food. The grip offers good control and thermal insulation. Smooth, well-made pan. -- 10" Skillet with Lid: This skillet is big enough to cook about four servings of meat and vegetables. Heat Output: The pot seems to be taking longer than I expected to heat up to full cooking temperature, but the lid helps, This may be due to the subtly thick base and the sides will certainly heat up over time, helping to cook large batches even over medium heat. Non-Stick: I always add a little butter/butter to start eating, but non-stick and sensible turning times do a good job of preventing food from sticking Cleanup: Cleanup is easy, although the top edge and bottom require extra care to clean the Keep pan clean and high quality without abrasion when cleaning Design: I would like the side walls to be more curved at the bottom as this helps with pouring of food easier than this slanted version, but on the other hand, this design reduces sloshing and splashing when stirring or moving food. The grip offers sufficient control. The lid fits well. The handle can become so hot that it may be necessary to support it with a mat or the like when lifting. Finish: The pan is almost completely polished and polished with a few exceptions. The hollow handle has sheet metal edges that have not been ground and polished to a mirror finish, creating a sharp edge feel. There is a slight risk of cuts during handling, particularly during cleaning and storage, although rapid or strong action of the hand or fingers is required to cause injury. Otherwise, very slightly rough spots will remain around the upper edges of the rivets on the bowl and lid. This is common with these products.
