When I had my oil changed I was told I needed a new engine air filter - it would cost me "only $60". Well, at first I was wondering why they looked in the engine filter when changing the oil, but I declined their offer on my son's advice that we could change the engine air filter easily and a lot cheaper. He was right! And you know what? It didn't look very dirty to me. I am a 69 year old woman and it was easy to change.
