Review on Asustor Drivestor 2 AS1102T - 2 Bay NAS by Moises Dzihic

Have been using it for a few months now. Installing drives and initial setup was quick and hassle-free. Passed the first update of all component software with no problems. Can't speak to capacity since you buy (and install) your own drives. I installed 2 x 4TB WD Red drives and configured them as RAID 1. Pros:* Quiet* Very fast (compared to my old MyBookLive)* Accessing the mapped drive from our laptops was easy; very reliable * Works seamlessly with Windows backup/history files. I can't think of any major downsides other than that a non-technical user might have some difficulties. However, the installation instructions were excellent. So if you pay attention and read carefully, you should be fine.
