The elastic cord on these cargo nets is quite strong and elastic. They have doubled strands to reinforce the edges and the knots are well done on the weave. The hooks are a bit cheap and the coating is thin so I'm not sure how they will hold up over time outdoors. I think it's just plain steel under a coating so they can rust if the metal is exposed. However they are strong enough for a net and I plan to use them in a cargo trailer so I don't have much to complain about. I could replace the hooks with rubber coated stainless steel hooks if I ever plan to use them in tougher conditions. I give it 5 stars for its excellent quality and construction for the price.
