I love how this has changed the way my car behaves. Throttle response is much quicker, a definite increase in power and finally I like the sound my engine makes. My 2017 Taurus has a 3.5L V6 that used to be pretty quiet and now sounds like a V8. I had to contact K&N because the threading on one of the parts was mismatched and snapped. After about 10 days I received a free replacement part. During installation I found a metal tab in the air intake tube which would have ended up in my engine if I hadn't found it. This would result in severe engine damage. I like the air filter but I'm surprised by the quality control. Installation wasn't too difficult. I assembled most of it prior to installation.
