I bought 24" mats because I needed to cut several longer pieces. Every time I remove the vinyl from the mat, whether cut or not, it leaves a sticky residue on the backing sheet (first photo - small white dots are sticky). Luckily I used HTV so the residue on the backing sheet isn't left behind values (at least I hope it doesn't matter. I haven't. I haven't pressed any of this with my heat press yet.) When I hold the mat and take it with me look at the highlight on it, you can see where all the sticky stuff has come loose (second photo) I'm not sure these rugs will last very long. I usually get out of the rug for at least a year or two. Since this is happening I'm not sure how long it will last.
