Typical spindle knob - Easy install, easy to remove
The only real pluses to this are that it's solid metal and won't peel the plating, and the knob itself is larger than a typical spindle. That's all. However, like any other spindle knob, it comes loose easily and often. No matter how many times you tighten the pin, it will loosen again after a month. You could potentially get stuck in a room because you turn the knob but it doesn't hold the spindle so it keeps turning but not opening. This is already the third, everyone is doing the same thing. Instead I will replace all the spindle knobs with spring loaded ones as they are more reliable.
