I bought one and tried it on 4 different printers. Brother HL1040, HP Deskjet 990Cxi, Ricoh AP204 and HP Deskjet 820C. All of them worked except 820C. I suspect that the age of the printer is the cause of the problem, but I'm not sure. Either way, it was pretty easy to set up and use. It took me a while to experiment to figure out what the options were, but I got it up and running in about 10 minutes with a basic setup. Not bad considering it's the first print server I've ever installed. Overall I was very happy with the product and would buy it again if needed.
