Review on Honda Vehicle Air Filter Upgrade: FRAM Extra Guard CA8040 Ensures Optimal Performance by Jorge Tupou

Pros: Seems to be able to capture/filter a lot of debris. The air filter material appears to be of high quality material. Cons: The orange foam gasket feels a bit small/thin. This caused the mating surfaces of the top and bottom of the filter housing to be loose compared to my previous clone air filter. This can result in incoming air bypassing the filter itself through the tiny gap between the filter and the air filter housing. No net is included as shown in the picture. Quality control also seems to have gotten a bit out of hand. Some of the five I bought had excess glue. This is my first time using Fram air filters. I was disappointed but will continue to follow the work as I bought 5 of these. (I have a special price)
