I bought a pack of 5 to make face shields to help fight the Covid-19 pandemic. Good price, super fast shipping (even with blocking) and nice colors but that's what I like about this thread. It first came in plastic shrink wrap rather than vacuum sealed bags like most filament, even at this price point. It's okay, I have a filament dryer (food dehydrator) but it's still annoying because it means I can switch from shipping to printing. I had to wait several hours to dry the first coil. To get an idea of how wet it is I put it in one of my hydrometer dry boxes and within minutes it was showing 35% moisture. After some time in the dehydrator, it usually shows 17%. Either way, then there was a winding. Generally not good. Doesn't tangle, but wraps itself tight in the corners, digs deeper into the layers (sorry, hard to describe), but with a powerful extruder motor, that filament pulls out. It was strong enough that the spool came off my reels several times before the line snapped and fell back onto my table. The worst thing was that the very first spool I used had the end of the spool pushed into the spool resulting in a loop perpendicular to the winding. This resulted in an unsuccessful print as the reel pulled all the way up to the extruder (Bowden unit) and just hung in the air. I was able to unwind the reel a bit and once I figured out what the problem was I was able to fix it, but it's really just poor quality control. So far this has only happened on the 1st reel and I almost on the 4th. The next minor complaint is that the reels are wider than usual and don't match the reels I have. This is the first brand I've had this problem with. Again minor complaints but just FYI. The last was the correspondence between the roles. PETG can be very viscous, but I would have to recalibrate the settings between each roll or I would experience printing errors. The red roller never really worked for me. At some point I almost always had a bump that the head collided with and shifted the shift. That's partly my fault, but at the same time I didn't have such a problem with other colors. Take what I say with a grain of salt. Too bad too, because the red was indeed a beautiful bright red.
