Plug and Play. This dock was connected to a MacBook Pro with a USB-C connector, connected to an HDMI monitor with an HDMI cable, and connected to an Ethernet network with an RJ-45 cable. it worked right away. No drivers required. I got a second and third monitor (no mirroring) with these two Ivanky docks. The resolution of the monitor is completely sufficient for working. Full speed ethernet with my ISP 90Mbps. No hiccups. USB also works (the speed was not checked), but the wireless keyboard and mouse did not lag. I have 4 of these for 2 jobs. My Mac has 4 USB-C ports. So 2 docking stations worked for 2 extended monitors. Passing power through the port also worked. Nevertheless, the Mac was charged. If he dies I'll report back with updates. But so far so good.
