I'd say these last ones are pretty good. I burn two or three bundles of firewood every winter. According to Revain, I last bought one of these in October 2013. It is now October 2021. You need to provide four things to know you have the right gasket for your oven. You need to know: 1) shape (round or flat, aka rope or ribbon), 2) diameter 3) density (low/medium or high density) 4) length Density refers to whether the "rope" has a core has, or it's just a hollow woven tube. If it is a hollow tube, it is of low/medium density. If there is a core in this tube, like a real rope, it has a high density. In my case (Lopi Revere, like Lopi Endeavor) I need a medium density 7/8 inch round pad over 5 feet long. I bought many fake pads before finally writing exactly what I needed where I couldn't lose information. What I need is Rutland 94N. A word of advice: for the gasket adhesive, get the new version of EZ Spread of Rutland Gasket Cement (77E) instead of the old material (77). It's much easier to use - it really sticks sealant to the door tightly when wet. If you're using a new material, then all the advice on things like preheating the cement in hot water, sticking the seal on the door, etc. can just be ignored be.Press the seal into the cement, hang the door back on the stove, leave it for an hour and light it.
