Review on 🧼 The Ultimate Drying Towel: Chemical Guys MIC1996 Woolly Mammoth Drying Towel in Blue by Debbie Thomas

Being fairly new to detailing I bought two of these towels to help me clean up my Nissan Murano to get dry after hand washing. Upon unboxing, I was pleased with the softness, fluffiness, and feel. They feel so much better than any towel I've ever had and I feel like they are totally safe for my colors. I read the reviews on the stack and was a little apprehensive about it, but I had bought other Chemical Guys products before and was happy with their composition, so I bought this one anyway. I was really concerned about the mentioned lint issue so I also bought some microfiber detergent to wash them before use. As soon as I received it, I unpacked it and my car was already clean, but I checked it again with cloths for dust or fluff. Nothing has happened. Then I splashed water on the hood and wiped it off. I was happy with the result. The towel I used was barely damp and dried my hood very quickly. I feel like after a full wash they dry my entire car perfectly. Even without washing them first, I didn't leave a noticeable pile. I then washed them in hot water with detergent and dried them on low heat as instructed. They have become very soft (but not softer than when unwrapped). The only thing about these towels is that they are smaller than I thought they would be. Not a big problem, especially if I can use it to dry my car. I have attached a photo of the towel on the hood of my car for size comparison and how it looks packaged. I love them and can't wait to wash my car and try them out. My first hood drying test and the general feel and quality made a good impression on me. I don't think they will disappoint. I also feel like I didn't have to wash them initially, but it didn't hurt. Anyway, just wish they were either a little more expensive or a little cheaper as they are.
