In the course of repairing my car I originally purchased this original Toyota crankshaft oil seal (the plan was to just replace the three seals on the timing belt side of the engine when I had to replace the timing belt and water pump) but then I decided to just go ahead and buy a new oil pump (considering it was separate down there and on a 495,000 mile engine. Turns out I did had made the right decision, oil would probably have failed before the next timing belt change). Through this process and the lack of coherent gasket kits I ended up with TWO other crankshaft gaskets. One thing I can tell you right now was INCREDIBLY worse than that seal. The other was visually similar, but this one "feels" better. My brother (a maintenance mechanic) agreed.
