I love Eggs Benedict, but when it comes to making poached eggs I've had mixed success. I just wanted something reliable that would work so I bought this because I trust Oxo as a brand. I was very excited when it arrived and made breakfast for dinner the same day so I could try it. Pros - Perfectly cooked poached eggs on the first try. You can see in the photo I made two poached eggs to make sure the first one wasn't an accident. Excellent results both times. I kept the water at a low boil for 3.5 minutes to get this consistency. Cons - it is quite tall and wide. Two of them didn't fit in my pot or in my big saucer. I had to almost fill my large plate with water before it hit the "fill line," so I used my smaller pot instead. It was ok but I can only cook one at a time. I like it because I mostly cook for myself. Not a scalable solution, but poached eggs turn out great every time.
