Use every time I smoke turkey breast (about one a weekend). I will also use it when smoking a whole turkey for the upcoming holidays. With the preset finished temperature, everything is done correctly (and not exceeded). It also means I don't have to open my BGE to see what's inside. At best, I'll check the dome thermometer to see what the reading is and adjust the vents as needed. I use it in place of the plastic button on each breast (or whole turkey). If I wait for the popper to pop, the turkey is done. Trust time indicators, not mechanical indicators. Besides, if you're looking, it doesn't boil.
