Misleading dimensions

Described as "8 inch bakeware". The only feature of these 8 inch pans is the measurement on the outside of the rim which is about 1/4 inch wide. A pie pan is measured from inside edge to inside edge at its widest point, or pie pans with sloping sides like this one are best measured at the inside bottom of the pan for the actual cooking area. These pans are just under 7 inches. The product itself makes a good impression in terms of workmanship, but I would not order it again just because the sizing is misleading.
