Excellent product, the best quality.

It should be understood that this is not DIR-300, and not TP-Link, its configuration is not trivial. Of course, there is a Quick Set that allows you to set it up even for a complete "teapot", but it will not always work. If the connection is via static IP or PPPoE - Quick Set will help. If some L2TP (hello to Beeline) - no longer. And any step "right-left" from a quick set already requires an understanding of the principles of networking, routing, etc. In addition, my opinion (as an IT specialist) Quick Set is a very vicious thing, it forms, to put it mildly, a far from ideal config. For people who understand the issue, I strongly recommend that you first perform a hard reset with deleting the default configuration, and then configure everything yourself. I also recommend immediately ating to the latest version of ROS.
Summing up, I will say: this is just a fantastic piece of iron, but first of all for those who know why he needs it and what it is eaten with. For the rest, using the quick set for tuning, it will be nailing with a microscope. In this case, if you still decide to acquire this device, I recommend inviting a specialist to set it up. Of course, you will have to fork out a little, but then you are guaranteed to get the most out of this device (or maybe it really is everything, and even a little more).

Pros

Awesome dual band! It is simply unrealistic to find analogues for such a price. The widest customization options. So, for example, a similar device from my client monitors the availability of the Internet, and in the event of an accident at the provider, it switches to Iota on its own, raises the VPN tunnel and sends all client traffic through it (necessary, since telephony is tied to the IP address there, dynamic Iota does not fit). As soon as everything starts working for the provider, it returns everything back. He also sends me an e-mail about what happened.

Cons

Relatively weak Wi-Fi transmitter. More than enough for an apartment, but I would certainly like to be able to give out a watt of power, as in older models. Well, 100 megabit ports, of course. However, it’s hard to call it a disadvantage either, so, the whining of a toad that is choking me to lay out about 8 thousand for the “older” hAP ac :)
