I've been using old yellow and green grocery store sponges for years, but after my dishwasher stopped working they started to wear out too quickly*. I needed something I wasn't constantly replacing and I found it. When the one I use needs to be changed, I take another one out of the closet and toss the one I use in a laundry basket and wash it with towels. After drying, it is put back in the closet along with the rest for reuse. With a 5 pack to spin and wash, I don't expect to need new sponges for a while. The cleaning side is very effective and safe for non-stick surfaces and also absorbs water very well to clean up spills. I can absolutely recommend them to everyone.
