Review on 🕒 Gates TCKWP286: Optimize Performance with Engine Timing Belt Kit and Water Pump by Doug Mancilla

Both Gates tensioners used in this kit failed once the engine reached operating temperature. One came in kit, the other bought locally with the same result. I am enclosing a report from the workshop on the replacement of the second failed tensioner with another manufacturer. These are cheap Chinese tensioners. Tensioner failure caused my engine to jump in time and possibly damaged it permanently. This could damage your engine.
