HDR is useless, but it doesn't matter. The screen is more than bright enough without HDR, and HDR is more of a mode on these monitors than a separate 'feature'. Turn on maximum brightness and you'll be fine, barring anything else you want to fiddle with in the settings. There is no screen tearing and it is very responsive. The only thing I don't like is the on-screen crosshair selection. You cannot change the color of the white grids and the 3 options they offer are quite large compared to my other two current monitors (Viewsonic Elite XG270QG and LG 34GP83A-B Ultrawide). Both had the perfect grid, which was a tiny dot. I chose green and went with it. This is my only complaint about this monitor. I doubt you will regret buying this monitor. Make sure you research your computer's specs and see if it can properly and efficiently run the games you want to play. My setup for reference is 11900k, 64GB 3200MHz RAM and EVGA 3080ti FTW3. He handles it with ease. Also, if you choose to use DLSS, make sure you're using "Performance" mode.
