I purchased this alternator as part of my 6v to 12v conversion on my Allis Chalmers CA tractor. It fits like it was made for him. The bracket kit I purchased did not need to be cut to clear the tie rod due to the small diameter of this assembly. I had to machine the included pulley to accommodate the 5/8" belt used on this tractor, but there was plenty of material for this modification. It works well.
