Review on πŸ”§ Schwinn Bike Multi-Tool Kit: The Ultimate Solution for Bicycle Repairs by James Nedumaran

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad power distributor for the price, but with some problems.

It definitely works and is offered at a good price. I have only two criticisms, one slightly more important than the other. The first remark is the lack of overlays on the handles. When I bought it I didn't think it would be a problem, but it was my first time using a circuit splitter. I underestimated the force required to break and reconnect the chain. A small spacer would have helped me hold the tool better when positioning and rotating. The bigger issue is what I believe to be a design flaw with this splitter. Once you set up the tool and slide the bar out of the chain, it's important not to push the bar all the way out because you'll have a heck of a time getting it back in if you try to rejoin the chain. With this particular tool, the chain enters a slot where the rod is inserted into a hole in the tool. I'm sure this is to stabilize the chain when you split it, but one of the side effects of this design is that you can't see when you're about to push the bar all the way out of the chain. . You can appreciate it, but if you make a mistake, you'll push the bar all the way out. I ended up buying another circuit splitter with and without this particular design. With this tool I could always see exactly how far I had pushed the bar out of the chain, allowing me to stop spinning and push it out at just the right moment for the chain to break without forcing the bar completely. Exit. Because of this design flaw, I only gave this tool 4 stars. Its reasonable price is the reason I didn't downgrade it to three stars.
